ABOUT US
In 2007, KRT started by providing relief to those impacted by Cyclone Yemyin in Baluchistan and Sindh. Since then, we have extended support to sustain and rehabilitate victims of various natural disasters. Our Rural Rehabilitation Program made possible through the generous support of donors and partners, has helped us rebuild houses, develop village infrastructure, and restore normalcy to the lives of those affected by natural disasters. During the COVID-19 pandemic, KRT led relief efforts for day-wagers in Karachi by digitizing the ration distribution process and brought 41 NGOs onto one digital platform to make distribution more effective. Our volunteers regularly prepare and distribute emergency rations, transport relief goods, and actively participate in rebuilding homes in the affected areas. Since the 2022 megafloods, we aim to build 25,000 houses in Sindh, Baluchistan, and Punjab.
